Conferences, seminars and competitions

The 11th MITAV, MITAV 2024, is open to teachers of all types of schools. MITAV is a platform for exchanging latest experience in mathematics, informatics, and other sciences as well as didactics of mathematics at all types of schools for all age groups. Relevant topics include e-learning and other applications of information technologies in education. Topics that are indispensable and highly demanded in contemporary society are especially relevant. The goal of the conference is to have a platform for presentation of results achieved in various branches of science and at the same time to provide an opportunity for meeting and mutual discussions of teachers from different types of secondary schools and universities. Presentations by master and doctoral students and teachers at the start of their professional careers are also welcome because their novel views and approaches are often interesting and stimulating for other participants

Mathematical problems of non-mathematicians (in Czech) is a cycle of semi-scientific lectures on applications of mathematics (not only) for students of mathematics and related subjects. The lectures are delivered by experts from enterprises or academics with expertise from practice. The lectures are open to public and are live streamed.
